Sejal Friends: the next three ladies are the epitome of girl power right? So these this is a force to be reckoned with. So I’d like to welcome to the floor said Jules bridesmaids. And they are beneath Ra pria and shoot the good evening Everyone I’m sure the I’m vinnie trough and I’m Priya and we’ve been friends with say Joel since the freshman year of college which is 10 years this year. Crazy. Um so we’re so so thrilled to be here at Angel in Charlene’s wedding weekends. Thank you dot aunties and uncles for putting together this beautiful event. Yeah. So uh we wanted to do something a little bit different with our speech. So obviously over the 10 years that we’ve known say Joel we’ve talked to you a Tom right? So we wanted to spend our speech actually talking to Shelley. And specifically we wanted to tell you how lucky you are and what a great catch say Joel is. And to do that we wanted to highlight three qualities that we think makes Angel really just an exceptional person on the first of those qualities. Is that cheese really driven? Say Jules is one of the most motivated people that any of us know. She has wanted to be part of the medical field for as long as we can remember for as long as we’ve known her. And she’s taken steps consistently to make that happen. We received text from her like in the middle of the night just after she’s been on call. And she’s justice charming and cheerful and his wonderful a person after a 12 hour shift as she is always which is incredible. She’s just really puts her heart and soul into everything that she does And we’ve seen the way that that has made her a better student and a better doctor. So that’s a truly incredible quality about say Joel and reason number one Shelling. Why you’re so lucky you. Thank you Vinnie Thera. Um I want to talk a little bit about say Jules optimism. So as long as I’ve known her whenever she has faced many challenges whether that’s a difficult exam or a particularly tricky Ross routine or anything that med school residency has thrown at her she has face those challenges with so much positivity and a smile on her face and the reason for that is because she’s a very centered and mindful person. Her centered quality and her mindfulness comes not only from her excellent upbringing and her personality but also because she’s uh she takes care of her body and her mind. She practises yoga she practises meditation and she’s serious about those things which is super inspiring. I remember I went to visit her once when she started med school and I went to use her restroom and I saw she had a bunch of sticky notes on her mirror that said You got this It’s a new day You’re beautiful inside and out And of course I asked her what they were and she told me that she wanted to start every morning with a burst of positivity and that really moved me. And it stuck with me till today because you know you see so many people post on Facebook or instagram thes inspirational quotes and sayings by famous people but say Joel lives that every single day um and so it is truly an honor and it’s just been so helpful to me being in your presence to witness that optimism and I hope I can learn some of that from you. And finally it was very difficult to pick only three things. But we thought the 3rd 1 we should highlight is just how caring and loving and giving you are. Um so we all know that she’s chosen to devote her life to giving back to others by joining the medical fields but she’s also so attentive and loving to those she loves. Um I am probably the most likely to receive snail mail from sage old which is pretty rare. That’s a pretty big deal. Um she takes time out of her exceptionally busy schedule and chooses to use that time to talk to us and call us and catch up with her friends. Which is difficult to do once you live in four different cities. Um and on New Year’s Eve we didn’t get a text. We got a FaceTime call from Sage. Ln Charlene which brings us to you Shelling. Um we knew that you were the perfect one for say Jill when we saw that you were someone just as loving and carrying us her Yes. One of the things that we have been so lucky to witness is just how good you both are for each other and shelling. I think that how thoughtful you are and how thoughtful Stasia let’s just makes for a really wonderful experience to be so lucky as to be your friend. And one of the things that all of us have appreciated is the fact that shelling you really become our friend Maur than say Jewel’s boyfriend. Or now say Jules soon to be husband which is incredible. Um and yeah we’re just so proud to know both of you were so lucky. Thio count you both among our friends and we can’t wait to grow with you over the next few years and we wish you just all the very best and the best wishes. Thank you. We could go on forever about how much we love stage along how happy we are to be here. But I just wanted to thank you one more time. And we’re so excited to be part of your beautiful event and have a good rest of your evening
