Closing Remarks: <\/b>Hi everyone. Um I just wanted to say thank you all so much for coming. I think both of us can say that we are so overwhelmed with all of the kindness and love we have felt from all of you all weekend long. Um as most of you know most of my family’s in Michigan. Immediate family. But I’m lucky to have extended family in New Jersey and all over the country and all of them are here today. Um I just want to give a special shout out to Michael give a boy who couldn’t make it today but has been such an important part of our lives. Um also I wanted to especially think all of my uncles and non Dee’s from Sagna Who um having watch me grow up Um and hearing that I was getting married in New Jersey um not only made every effort to come here but rented a charter bus and drove thief 14 hour drive that it is from second outta here just to be here for my wedding weekend. Um I cannot think my family enough for helping me organize all of this. Especially my mom who without none of this would’ve been possible um to my new mom and dad in a Suria. I know that today is the day that I officially enter your family but for the past four years you have made me feel like I have been a part of your family all along. I um have geographically been closer to you over these past few years than my own family. And you have always invited me to every family occasion making sure that there was never a holiday that I was left celebrating alone. And I cannot say how excited I am to be officially joining your family to my own family. I love you all so much. And um I will always be a tatami despite but my last name will say. And um I will always always um for your daughter. Good evening everyone. Um you know we’ve been talking about how prepared I tend to be and anyone who knows me knows that I like to plan everything in advance but I feel like in this moment everything I had prepared it’s sort of not reachable. They’re very few words to describe how I feel and I think how both of us feel. But some of those words are just overwhelmed humbled and honor You know to have all of you here as often you mentioned we have family all over the world. And we have people flew in from California in London Mumbai D. C. And of course everyone from Michigan. Um this is really a multi day multicultural multi city event. Um of course none of this would’ve been possible without both of our sets of parents. I’ve already been blessed with having two of the best parents in the entire world. Given me every single thing I’ve ever wanted and have worked so hard to get me here in this moment standing on this stage um to my new parents I know I’ll find the same type of love and support in anything that I wish to do. And that sort of feeling is hard to describe. And one other person I’d like to think the last person I’d like to think is a person standing right next to me the most beautiful person in the room. You know over the past four and 1\/2 years I’ve seen only grow and change so much from the first time I met her but keep all those core values intact as an ophthalmologist everyday her job is to help people see better and see clearer. And now I realize that I’m also one of those people that she helps. Even when you know the skies are cloudy and things that are dark she helps me see clearer and smarter and just see a brighter future for both of us together.
